The Tahini You Use Matters!
I’m gonna let you in on a little tip: Good quality tahini should be runny! Think smooth, pourable, and thinner than the consistency of peanut butter.
If you’re using tahini that’s too thick, you’re going to have to add more water to thin the dressing out!

5-Minute Vegan Creamy Basil Dressing (Made with Tahini!)
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup packed basil, chopped
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt, plus more to taste
- 2-4 tbsp water, added 1 tbsp at a time, depending on how runny your tahini is
Equipment
- 1 small bowl or mason jar
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small bowl and whisk together until smooth, or blend in a high speed blender!
