Meet your new favorite breakfast smoothie! Creamy, dairy-free, and bursting with bold coffee flavor. This 5-minute Banana Coffee Smoothie is naturally sweet, packed with plant-based protein, and energizing enough as a light breakfast, snack or dessert!

Name something better than a thick, creamy, coffee smoothie that’s also packed with nutrition and doubles as breakfast… I’ll wait.

Can’t think of anything? Me either! And luckily, this banana coffee smoothie only takes 5 minutes to whip up and is about to make your mornings about a million times more delicious.

I’ve tested this coffee and banana smoothie to perfection to make sure it’s bold, satisfying, and just like my absolutely delicious strawberry smoothie, it’s got enough plant-based protein and fiber, 12 and 7 grams, respectively, to ACTUALLY keep you full until lunch, which you know I love as a Registered Dietitian!

It’s rich, frothy, lightly sweet, with a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. Basically dessert vibes, but make it breakfast.

Pair It Like a Pro

While I specifically developed this banana smoothie with coffee to be super satisfying on its own, it is pretty light, so may I suggest my absolutely delicious and easy Salted Caramel Dairy-Free Overnight Oats?!

If you’re as big of a fan of smoothies as I am, you NEED to try my Blueberry Kale Smoothie next! It’s packed with nutrition, but I swear that you can’t even taste the kale!

No Fancy Stuff, Just 6 Ingredients

Espresso or coffee: I’ve tested this coffee smoothie using both espresso and coffee, and they both turn out perfectly, so use whichever you have on hand!

Frozen banana: It’s pretty important that the banana is frozen to add that delicious creaminess and to make the coffee cold without having to add too much ice!

Soy milk: For a whopping 8 grams of protein per cup!
