Seriously, this herby basil tofu dip is silky, smooth, and packed with basil, lemony goodness, and I honestly can’t get enough. And just like my Cilantro Lime Edamame Dip, it comes together in like, 5 minutes.
Look, I’ve made many absolutely delicious vegan dips in my day, but there’s something about a dip that’s made of soft tofu but ACTUALLY tastes amazing that just makes me so happy as a Registered Dietitian.
If you’re skeptical about the tofu part of this dip, don’t be! I swear that you can’t even taste it, and it’ll please even the biggest tofu skeptics!

What’s in This Dreamy Dip?
Soft tofu: It’s important that you use soft tofu rather than medium or firm tofu, since they won’t get as creamy when blended!
Fresh Basil & Parsley: For sooo much delicious flavor. I’ve also tested this recipe using cilantro and parsley and it’s also delicious!
Nutritional Yeast: For a hit of cheesiness without having to use actual cheese!
Garlic: Because what dip is complete without garlic?!
Lemon juice: For tanginess!
Salt & Pepper: Duh!

5 Minutes to Dip Heaven
I’ve tested this recipe using both a food processor and a high-speed blender and both work perfectly, so use whichever you’d prefer!


5-Minute Basil Tofu Dip (Vegan!)
Ingredients
- 300 g soft tofu
- 14 g fresh basil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 tsp salt
Equipment
- Food processor or high speed blender
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor and blend until super smooth.
