The Simplest Ingredients Ever
Friends, we use a secret ingredient to make these oven roasted sweet potatoes even more savory tasting… Nutritional yeast!
Just a sprinkle of this helps them to have a delicious, umami-packed flavor and totally elevates them. Kinda like adding a sprinkle of parmesan to fries, but dairy-free!
Don’t have nutritional yeast on hand? No worries! I’ve tested them without nutritional yeast and with, and while I do prefer a sprinkle of nutritional yeast on top, they’re still seriously amazing without it!

A Few Testing Notes
I kept the skin on for these rosemary sweet potatoes since it’s where allllll the fiber is, but I’ve also tested out peeling them and they still turn out delicious!
Also, I used dried rosemary rather than fresh because that’s what I had on hand, but if you want to use fresh, I recommend using triple the amount that you would use of dried to get the same flavor!
