If you’re looking for a sauce that instantly makes any meal more exciting, this creamy, savory tahini sauce is it.

It’s rich, salty, tangy and slightly sweet, and so good that my husband has been known to drink leftovers of it straight from the jar.

As a Registered Dietitian who cares about making meal times easier, I’m a huge fan of meals that come together with almost no effort but are super customizable, which is why I love sharing healthy bowl recipes so much!

And luckily this soy tahini sauce completely elevates any bowl that might be a simple mixture of veggies, grains and a protein to something you’ll actually WANT to eat. You’re welcome!

Blend it Up, Baby!

Yup, throw all of the ingredients into a blender, whiz it up, and you’re done! It seriously couldn’t be any easier than that.

My absolute favorite way to use this maple tahini dressing is drizzled over my Roasted Cauliflower and Chickpeas Sheet Pan Dinner! It adds the perfect pop of flavor to this super simple dinner!

My Top Tips & Tricks

I’ve been making this savory sauce for over 10 years, so you could definitely say that I’ve tested it thousands of times and have come up with some tips!

  • Use runny tahini! It should be way thinner than peanut butter- Think, a pourable consistency.
  • That being said, how much water you add to the sauce totally depends on how thick your tahini is. If you’re scraping the bottom of the jar and all you have left is dried up tahini… You’re gonna need more water.
  • Don’t skip the nutritional yeast. Trust me, I’ve tested this sauce with and without and it’s a thousand times better with!
