A High Protein Snack You’ll Actually Love
I share lots of higher protein snack recipes since I know it can be kind of a challenge to think of them when there’s a million other things to do, and these are a double whammy of goodness since they’re healthy AND take, like, 10 minutes to make, just like my super popular 10 Minute No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars, which are equally as easy but good if you have more of a sweet tooth!
Shelled Edamame for the Win!
I’ve tested this easy edamame snack with both shelled edamame and edamame in the pods, and I much prefer the shelled edamame version!
The best part about shelled edamame? It pretty much always comes frozen, meaning you can keep it fully stocked in your freezer when the craving for this air fryer edmame strikes!

Air Fryer or Oven, You Choose!
I tested this recipe a few times to make sure I get the timing juuuuuust right while using both the air fryer AND the oven!
Too little cooking time meant they weren’t crispy enough, and too much cooking time meant they were way too dry. Luckily for you, I landed on the perfect amount!
You’ll have some edamame leftover after making this air fryer edamame snack, so I highly suggest using it in my 15-Minute Quinoa Edamame Salad with Citrus Dressing for an easy, healthy main dish!
