Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen shelled edamame
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

To Cook in the Air Fryer

  • Heat the air fryer to 400 ℉. Add the frozen shelled edamame to an air fryer basket and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the garlic powder and salt over the edamame. Shake the air fryer basket to evenly distribute.
  • Make sure that the edamame beans are evenly distributed in the air fryer basket for even cooking!
  • Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the edamame are crispy and lightly golden brown.

To Cook in the Oven

  • Preheat the oven to 450℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, combine the frozen, shelled edamame, olive oil, garlic powder and salt. Toss until the edamame beans are well coated.
  • Lay edamame beans evenly on the parchment paper and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the edamame beans are crispy and lightly golden brown.

Notes

Storing leftovers: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Reheating leftovers: The edamame won't be as crispy if you choose to reheat in the microwave, but if you want it to keep its crispiness, you can toss it in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 400F or the oven at 450F for 5 minutes!
