Let’s just admit it- tofu gets a bad rap. And to be honest, it can be incredibly bland or really delicious. This garlic tofu is really delicious.
I created this recipe for all of those who think tofu is gross (hi Mom!), and who don’t have much time to make gourmet tofu. This garlic tofu comes together in less than 30 minutes, and is the perfect addition to any nourish bowl, salad, sandwich or snack!
The key to delicious tofu is understanding that it takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it with. Many people cook a block of tofu without seasoning it at all, which is a big no-no. I love this garlic tofu because the flavor is still mild enough to pair with other foods (like in this bowl!), but flavorful enough to actually be adding something to the bowl.
I paired this garlic tofu with some fall harvest veggies- sweet potato and my quick pickled cabbage. I kept it simple with a drizzle of tahini, maple syrup, and lemon juice and it was absolutely delicious. You could also try this bowl with my Peanut Lime Sauce!
I made the garlic tofu using my Bagotte Air Fryer. Look, I’ve been thinking about getting an air fryer for years, but always held off on the assumption that I wouldn’t use it very often. I was completely wrong. This Bagotte Air Fryer is a game-changer for me.
As someone who loves meal prepping roasted chickpeas, tofu, potatoes, and vegetables, having an air fryer makes meal prepping so much easier. I love that I can set the timer to my desired time and temperature and forget about it, as it turns off on its own. I also love how easy it is to clean because let’s be honest, cleaning is one of the most annoying parts of cooking.

I would absolutely cook tofu first in my air fryer. I’m the opposite of a tofu hater and this looks like an awesome way to cook it
I love a good harvest bowl, this looks delicious & I’m excited to try it!
As for this amazing little Bagotte air fryer – I have been wanting one so badly for a couple months now, and though I’ve tried to trick myself into feeling this luxury item is a necessity, I’m really trying to keep myself on budget!! ? LoL
The first thing I would be so grateful to try in the air fryer, aside from some crispy tofu, would be cauliflower gnocchi! Ooey gooey inside, with a crispy crunch outside- yum!!
Thank you for all your delicious recipes!!!
Obviously, the first thing I would make if I won the Bagotte Air Fryer would be your garlic tofu! I have been super struggling to make my tofu taste as delicious as the tofu I always get when I am out and about. But I am not a huge fan of eating out and am just dying to make some at home that just tastes decent lol!
I would make one of the bazillion recipes I have pinned on Pinterest that recommend or require using an air fryer!
I’d definitely make some sweet potato fries first of all??
