This easy side salad is made with raw broccoli, apple, and canned chickpeas, super speed tossed with my Quick 5-Minute Lemon Garlic Vinaigrette, pecans and raisins, for a super healthy, easy broccoli salad recipe that’s delicious as a main meal or side!

DBray’s 5-star review⭐️: “This was a refreshing change from the usual mayo broccoli salad. The only change I made was to use a champagne vinaigrette (because I had made a few days ago and needed to use up). No other changes and will definitely be making again and trying with the lemon dressing. Served on the side with a chili mac casserole and some cornbread.”
Step aside traditional green salad, there’s a new sheriff in town, and it’s this lemony, garlicky, slightly sweet and healthy Broccoli Chickpea Salad with apples that only takes 15 minutes to make!
You probably never thought you’d be craving a broccoli salad, until this one!
Using fresh broccoli as the base of this easy broccoli salad recipe means it’s crunchy and hearty enough to hold up if you want to meal prep this salad ahead of time, which I highly recommend doing as a Registered Dietitian!
It would work perfectly along my other meal prep staples, like my 25-Minute Healthy Herby Breaded Tofu!
