Who needs mediocre store-bought salad dressing when you can whip up a delicious, healthy vegan ranch dressing at home in just 5 minutes?! Made by whisking together tahini, lemon juice, dill, and a few additional spices, this creamy vegan ranch without mayo is about to be your new go-to for salads and as a dip!

Listen, I love a ‘convenience’ option as much as the next person, and sometimes a store-bought salad dressing is all I have time for.
But if I’m being totally real with myself, I know that homemade salad dressings taste WAY better than store-bought. Plus, they usually only take a few minutes to make and are usually a little more nutrient-dense, since you can control the amount of sugar and salt, which matters to me as a Registered Dietitian!
This easy vegan ranch dressing is so creamy, packed with flavour, and takes less than 5-minutes to make, meaning it’s the perfect quick addition to my 20-Minute Buffalo Chickpea Salad Bowl with Vegan Ranch!

Tahini or Sunflower Seeds? Both Win!
I’ve tested this dressing with both tahini and blended sunflower seeds, and let me tell you, they both work beautifully!
Tahini gives you that classic creamy texture (just make sure it’s nice and runny), while sunflower seeds are a fun twist. Just blitz ½ cup of seeds with ½ cup of water in a high-powered blender and use that as your base.
Either way, you’re getting a luscious, creamy dressing packed with healthy fats that’s the best vegan ranch for salads!
If you have a jar of tahini lying around, why not try my easy and totally crave-worthy Healthy Vegan Macaroni Salad next?! It’s a crowd-pleaser for the whole family!
