Looking for your new fave weeknight dinner recipe? This sweet, sticky Teriyaki Tofu & Green Bean Stir Fry is the perfect healthy recipe that comes together in 25 minutes FLAT! Literally just combine diced tofu and green beans in a pan and douse with my super popular 5-Minute Teriyaki Inspired Stir Fry Sauce, serve over a bed of rice or noodles (or on its own!) and enjoy every last mouthwatering bite!
Let’s be real, we all need more easy dinner recipes!
Because who the heck wants to spend forever cooking dinner after a busy day? Definitely not me.
I’m always on the hunt for dinner (or lunch!) recipes that can be whipped up in less than 30-minutes, and I’m so happy to have discovered another one that’s also super well-balanced with protein, fiber, and fat!
Oh, and did I mention that this is one of the best stir fries I’ve ever made? It’s SO simple yet somehow SO delicious?! I think it all comes down to my 5-Minute Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce, which I seriously use on every single stir fry I make, it’s that good.
And guess what, to make it even easier, we use FROZEN green beans!! Now, I know what you’re thinking, aren’t frozen veggies not as healthy as fresh?! But that couldn’t be further from the truth! Frozen fruit and veg is just as nutritous, maybe even MORE nutritious than fresh, because they’re frozen at the peak of their ripeness.
Not the mention it’s sooo much more convenient to use frozen veggies since they’re already cut and washed withuot the worry of them going bad!
What Kind of Tofu Should I Use?
Extra firm all the way!! It doesn’t require any pressing ahead of time and absorbs more liquid than firm or medium tofu. If firm is all you have on hand, though, you can use that instead, I just recommend pressing it beforehand!

Gather your Ingredients!
The BEST part about this stir fry (other than how tasty it is and how quickly it comes together, obviously) is that it comes together with just a few simple ingredients!
Extra Firm Tofu: As the protein packed base!
Frozen Green Beans: For nutrients and fiber!
My Tasty Homemade Stir Fry Sauce: Takes less than 5 minutes to make and is delicious with the crispy tofu and green beans!
Plus, you can serve it with the rice of your choice or noodles! I threw a pack of my favorite microwavable rice into the microwave to pair with it!
What Should I Pair This With?
I cooked up some microwavable rice to keep things easy, but regular rice, couscous, rice noodles or udon noodles would also be delicious!
If you aren’t super hungry, you can always enjoy this on its own, too.
Wondering how to cook frozen vegetables in the air fryer or over so that they actually taste good and don’t just turn to mush? Here’s How to Cook Frozen Vegetables!
Okay, Now Let’s Make This Tasty Tofu Stir Fry!
- Start by heating the sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat. Once the pan is heated, add your cubed tofu and sprinkle with garlic powder and salt.
- Let the tofu cook on its own for about 10 minutes, flipping every 3 minutes to get even crispiness on different sides.
- Once the tofu is crispy on most sides, pour in your Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce. Stir in with the tofu until slightly thickened. Add your frozen green beans (no need to thaw ahead of time!).
- Sauté the tofu and green beans together and let heat until the green beans are heated through. Serve over rice (I love microwavable rice for this!), noodles, or on its own and enjoy!
What If I Have Leftovers?
Lucky you!! I recommend storing leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days! Reheat leftovers either in the microwave or on the stove top.
