Purple cabbage: Of course! Make sure you slice your cabbage thinly so that it soaks up allllll the flavorful goodness.

Walnuts: I love adding walnuts for some extra crunch and healthy fats, but I’ve also tested the recipe without them and it turns out great either way!
Maple Syrup: I’ve texted this recipe both with and without maple syrup, and it’s delicious either way! I usually make it without, though.

Sesame-Lime Purple Cabbage Salad
Ingredients
- 4 cups purple cabbage, thinly sliced or shredded
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 lime, juiced
Optional
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tbsp maple syrup, if you want to add sweetness!
Instructions
- Start by shredding the purple cabbage and place it in a large bowl.
- To the large bowl, add the soy sauce, sesame oik, lime juice, and walnuts and maple syrup, if using.
- Mix well until everything is well combined and enjoy!
