Healthy, flavorful and so easy to make, this Maple Balsamic Salad Dressing takes less than 5 minutes to throw together and keeps for up to two weeks in the fridge, helping your salads come together that much more easily!

As a Registered Dietitian, I’m alllll for shortcuts when it comes to making healthy recipes. And what better shortcut than having a delicious, homemade salad dressing prepped in your fridge so you can make salads taste THAT much better, that much more easily?!
When it comes to making a salad that’s actually filling, one of the key players is using a healthy salad dressing that you enjoy the taste of AND is a good source of healthy fats so you end up feeling full longer, than, oh I don’t know, twenty minutes!

Let’s Talk Taste!
Rich, tangy balsamic meets a hint of maple sweetness and a mellow kick of garlic to take you to flavor heaven! It’s like your favorite store-bought vinaigrette got a glow-up and decided to live in your fridge full-time.
Sweet (but not too sweet), garlicky (without scaring off your lunch date), and so drizzle-worthy.
If you’re as big a fan of homemade salad dressings as I am, you HAVE to try my super popular Quick 5-Minute Lemon Garlic Vinaigrette next! Packed with lemony, garlicky goodness and perfect for storing in the fridge!

Perfect Salad Partners for Maple Balsamic Goodness
If you’re looking for a salad dressing idea with maple syrup, this is totally it.
And the best part about this Maple Balsamic Salad Dressing? It tastes amazing on preeetty much anything.
But I actually whipped it up with my Radicchio Rosemary Tofu & Apple Salad in mind because the sweet-tangy vibes of the dressing are absolutely perfect with the bitter radicchio, herby tofu, and crisp apples.
It brings all those cozy flavors together in one seriously delicious, flavor-packed bowl.

Just a Handful of Ingredients, Big Flavor
Balsamic Vinegar: Duh!
Olive Oil: I recommend using extra-virgin olive oil for the best flavor, but I’ve also tested it with avocado oil and it works great!
Dijon Mustard: To add extra flavor! If you’re not a big fan of Dijon mustard, I promise you can hardly taste it in this recipe. If you don’t have Dijon on hard, a grainy mustard will work well, too.
Maple Syrup: For sweetness! I’ve also tested this recipe with regular white sugar and it works perfectly!
Nutritional yeast: For a boost of savory, umami flavor!
Garlic: I HIGHLY recommend using fresh garlic in this recipe since it gives the best flavor! With that being said, I’ve also tested this homemade salad dressing using 1/2 tsp garlic powder instead of fresh and it works well.
Salt & Pepper: To balance the sweetness and bring out the flavors of the salad!
