Coated in delicious BBQ sauce, these 10-minute pan-fried BBQ Chickpeas are made with canned chickpeas and are the perfect protein- and fiber-packed addition to any salad, sandwich, or wrap. This easy barbecue chickpea recipe also doubles as a high protein snack idea and good enough to eat the whole batch in one sitting!

Start by draining and rinsing your canned chickpeas well. We want to make sure you remove all of the goop (aka, aquafaba) do you're left with just the chickpeas.
Heat a large pan over medium heat with 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add the drained and rinsed chickpeas to the pan, along with the BBQ sauce and garlic powder. Mix well to combine.
Let the BBQ start to simmer for about 7-10 minutes, until the BBQ sauce has reduced so there isn't much liquid left in the pan. We want this to be a low simmer, so if they start bubbling too much, reduce the heat to low.
Once the BBQ sauce has reduced and you're left with sticky chickpeas deliciously coated in BBQ sauce, remove from the heat and enjoy!
