Vegan Peppermint Hot Chocolate

This Vegan Peppermint Hot Chocolate is made with just a few simple ingredients and is the perfect cozy drink to enjoy during the holiday season (and even after!)

Ingredients

  • cups plant-based milk I used oat milk
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract or to taste
  • pinch of salt

Optional

  • crushed candy canes to top
  • vegan whipped cream

Instructions

  • Heat your plant-based milk in the microwave at 1 minute intervals until desired temperature (it took me 3 minutes total). You could also heat the milk on the stove top.
  • Add all ingredients to the blender and blend on high until completely mixed.
  • Serve with a dollop of vegan whipped cream (I love the So Delicious one!) and crushed candy canes and enjoy!
