  • 1 cup medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp plant-based milk I used oat
  • small pinch of salt


  1. If you have a food processor, add all ingredients to a food processor and blend on low until a large ball forms.

  2. If you do not have a food processor, chop dates. Add into a large bowl along with all other ingredients. Use hands to mix all ingredients together until incorporated.

  3. Form the dough into balls, refrigerate and enjoy.

Recipe Notes

Feel free to use other types of dates rather than medjool, but they must be soft and sticky. If dates are smaller and less moist, soak in boiling water for 30 minutes before using.
